Via social media I discovered a new t-shirt fundraising campaign called #HereForFarmers, started by Farm At Hand, a farm management software company. Three different t-shirt designs were available for sale with a portion of the proceeds going to the Farm Stress Line.
The other designs were: Farmer + Barley = Beer and Farmer + Cow = Steak
As my regular blog readers already know, I’m a strong supporter of Canadian agriculture and our farmers who are currently busy seeding this year’s crops. Our farmers are seeding the wheat that makes our bread. Our farmers are seeding the barley that makes our beer. And our farmers are raising the cattle that turn into our steak. Remember: no farmers, no food.
